For this, I am thankful

In a couple of days, it will be 2016. While super excited about what’s to come, I can’t help but reflect on how amazing 2015 has been. This past year was full of highs and lows, along with joys and disappoints, and I wouldn’t change a thing because the lessons I’ve learned have made me stronger and wiser. For this, I am thankful.

There were a few goals I set for myself in 2015 that I did not accomplish, but it’s all about perspective. I said I wouldn’t end 2015 the same way as 2014 and kept that promise. Over the past year, I’ve gained tons of knowledge, insight, and self-discipline, which moved me closer to my goals than ever before. And I’m certain I’ll be able to accomplish all of my goals in 2016.

Over the next few days, take some time to figure out what you want for yourself over the next 12 months. Setting goals gives you something to focus on, work toward, and to constantly keep in prayer. If you wait until January 1, you’re already behind! 2016 will be a great year for me, and I hope it will be for you as well.

How will you make 2016 great?

  1. Nic, thank you, again, for a wonderful time together and delicious breakfast on Christmas morning!

An impression the Lord has just put on my heart for 2016 is VICTORY: one thought, one word, one action at a time. By His grace, one step at a time, I hope to live this out.Much love, mom A.
