It’s the end of January, and I want to know how are you doing with your 2017 goals? It’s easy to have momentum when starting something new, but sometimes we lose steam during the process. If that’s you, it’s okay but it’s time to get back on track. Here are three things that work for me and I know they will help you crush your goals this year.
1. Remove negative influences
Negative influences are everywhere and can stop you from living a more positive life. Some negative influences are external, such as family or friends, while others are your own thoughts. Regardless of the source, being aware is the only way to win. Once you recognize it, cut it off immediately. You need to be a NO NEGATIVITY ZONE!
2. Turn off the TV
Is watching your favorite show worth you being in the same place at the beginning of 2018? Heck no! You have to limit your time watching TV…and this includes social media. I know this is hard but let’s be honest, the majority of us aren’t watching anything that will really benefit us. The best way to limit TV watching is not to turn it on until you’ve completed all your daily tasks. Once you start this habit, it will become second nature.
3. Lose the excuses
Who’s the worst person to disappoint? Yourself! Let’s make this year the year of no excuses. It’s been proven that people make time for the things they want, so there’s no excuse for not accomplishing goals. Don’t stunt your growth and progress by making up some lame excuse for why you didn’t crush your 2017 goals.
