Did you really ask God to bless your mess?

So, why is it that we reach out to God when situations/relationships in our life are falling apart? We pray and ask God to make our mess okay. We pray and ask God to bless our relationship full of fornication and sin.  We go to great lengths to make it work, but eventually it fails. And, we find ourselves bitter, angry, scorn and hurt wondering why God did not fix it. Um, God DID fix it!

Listen, God is not a God of confusion. You cannot ask God to bless a situation/relationship that he was never a part of from the beginning.  This was a situation you orchestrated!

Changing a person is impossible….BUT a person can negatively affect you! Hanging around the wrong people can cause relapses and push you back into a state of peril. If a person is meant to be with you, there is nothing to change. It won’t be, “He/she is cool and BUT…,” nope it won’t be like that! Don’t look to be the exception to the rules.

When we take our lives into our own hands, we make a mess of it! Allow God to provide for you and experience what #winning is all about! Psalm 37:1: FRET NOT yourself because of evildoers, neither be envious against those who work unrighteousness (that which is not upright or in right standing with God).

Psalm 37:3-5: Trust (lean on, rely on, and be confident) in the Lord and do good; so shall you dwell in the land and feed surely on His faithfulness, and truly you shall be fed. Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord [roll and repose each care of your load on Him]; trust (lean on, rely on, and be confident) also in Him and He will bring it to pass.

Seek him and he will work on your behalf.

Good scriptures to highlight:
Ecclesiastes 7:26: And I found that [of all sinful follies none has been so ruinous in seducing one away from God as idolatrous women] more bitter than death is the woman whose heart is snares and nets and whose hands are bands. Whoever pleases God shall escape from her, but the sinner shall be taken by her.

Psalm 27:14: Wait and hope for and expect the Lord; be brave and of good courage and let your heart be stout and enduring. Yes, wait for and hope for and expect the Lord.
