Challenges will always come

May 31, 2015 1

We all face challenges. Some are big, some are small, and it seems like they always pop up at the most inopportune times. We want these situations to end immediately, but that doesn’t always happen.

Hit below the belt

May 31, 2015 0

The enemy begins to attack us when we’re young. He tells us we are not good enough or that we aren’t worthy of good things. It’s a lie. He always hits below the belt to throw us off track, but God’s word is a promise and will accomplish everything it was sent to do.

They say Christianity is on the decline…

May 18, 2015 0

Pew Research recently released results for its new Religious Landscape Study. May 18, 2015 0

We all have “busy” lives and distractions everywhere we turn. Something always comes along and demands our time and the next thing we know, the day is over! We did everything that was mildly important but neglected the one thing that is most important–spending our much needed time with God!

Fear was conquered at the cross

May 4, 2015 0

My pastor recently said fear is the enemy’s number one weapon and is like an atomic bomb, designed to wipe out everything…WOW! Seems pretty powerful. Fortunately for us, everything, including fear, was already conquered at the cross through the crucifixion of Christ. We just have to activate our faith and there’s no better time than right now!

Grief changes shape, but it never ends

April 27, 2015 0

The Awakening Times posted a great article about actor Keanu Reeves and how he’s overcome so much adversity but still remains positive and humble. It really goes to show that God doesn’t give us more than we can handle.

Doing good when no one is watching

April 20, 2015 0

How easy is it to donate money or goods when you have an audience? Very easy! But, what about when no one is watching and no one will know? At this point, it becomes a question of our motives.
