Mineral Fusion: A clean, natural mineral beauty option

Mineral Fusion- A clean, natural mineral beauty option

Clean beauty products are increasing in popularity. With an increased demand for natural, wholesome foods comes the need for beauty and skincare products that are the same–good for your body and good for the environment. As consumers read more labels and pay attention to ingredients, companies will need to create more health-conscious products.

I desire to use all-natural products that are free of artificial, harmful chemicals. I can acknowledge that it’s not always the easiest thing to do. A face wash that worked great yesterday may dry out your skin today. An eyeliner that looks great today may irritate your eyelids tomorrow. Sometimes it’s trial and error, so I’m happy when I find a good brand that’s tried and tested.

Mineral Fusion is one of those brands. As a mineral cosmetics company, it offers a smarter makeup option that improves complexion and nourishes the skin. One of the most significant benefits is that Mineral Fusion is ideal for all skin types, even the most sensitive skin.

What’s more, is Mineral Fusion has options including body care, hair care, skincare, and nail lacquers– many of which are handmade in the United States. Their goal is to leave skin and hair in better condition than they found it. You can feel good knowing their products are natural and free of gluten, parabens, talc, artificial colors, synthetic fragrances, SLS, and phthalates. Plus, there’s never any animal testing.

Here are a few Mineral Fusion products that I enjoy and recommend.

Nail Lacquer in Crimson Clay
Traditional polish chips on my nails because I have oily nail beds. Fortunately for me, Mineral Fusion’s nail polish is chip-resistant and long-lasting. I chose Crimson Clay for the glossy cream finish.

The nail lacquer comes in several colors and is CarbonFree®, cruelty-free, paraben-free, vegan, ethyl tosylamide-free, xylene-free, formaldehyde-free, formaldehyde resin-free, toluene-free, dbp-free, triphenyl phosphate-free, and camphor-free.

Mineral Fusion Brow PencilRetractable Brow Pencil in Dark Brown
In my opinion, good eyebrows can make or break a look. My eyebrows have a nice shape but are not full, so I use a brow pencil to achieve fuller brows. Mineral Fusion’s retractable eyebrow pencil is a good option for natural-looking eyebrows. I’m able to fill in thinner areas with the pencil then use the spoolie to shape and blend. Also, the smooth glide-on lasts all day, which is great because I don’t want to worry about reapplying makeup.

The brow pencil is infused with botanicals and is hypoallergenic, cruelty-free, vegan, gluten-free, no harsh ingredients, fragrance-free, paraben-free, and phthalate-free.

Sheer Moisture Lip Tint in Blush
This lip tint makes my lips feel so good. It’s hydrating and perfect for everyday wear with the right amount of tint. It also has a pleasant vanilla-mint flavor, and the sheer finish is ideal for any occasion.

Mineral Fusion’s sheer moisture lip tint is available in several colors and is hypoallergenic, cruelty-free, vegetarian, gluten-free, no harsh ingredients, artificial fragrance-free, paraben-free, and phthalate-free.

Mineral Fusion ProductsWaterproof Mascara in Raven
I have a love/hate relationship with mascara. My eyelashes are curly, and it’s often a hassle to apply mascara. I also have dry eye and use eye drops multiple times a day, so mascara has typically not been a part of my beauty regimen.

I saw Mineral Fusion’s waterproof mascara in Heinen’s and decided to give it a try. It’s said to define lashes with richly pigmented hues that last all day. It’s easy on the eyes, nourishing, and is smear and smudge resistant. I’ve been using it for a few weeks, and so far, so good.

The mascara is hypoallergenic, cruelty-free, gluten-free, no harsh ingredients, artificial fragrance-free, paraben-free, and phthalate-free.
