My Caffeine Addiction

Nic Discussing Her Caffeine Addiction

I’m over the headaches, jitters, lack of focus, and anxiety that all come from my caffeine addiction. Over the last ten years, it has grown uncontrollable, and I often feel like I can’t function without it. I am reminded of this by the mild headaches that worsen without a daily dose of this addictive stimulant.

Caffeine, a psychoactive drug, is legal, unregulated, but oh so popular among us adults. The problem I have is that I enjoy caffeinated beverages so much I want more and more. When is enough, enough? According to my common sense, enough is now!

Can you relate?
