Soothing Dental Spray for aches and pains

Oral Spray for Tooth Aches

A few weeks ago, I started having some tooth and gum pain. It was a foreign feeling as I never have oral pain. I was honestly a fish out of water and didn’t know what to do.  My first mind was to call the dentist and get an emergency appointment, even though my pain level was at a 2. Before I could dial the number, I decided to give a home remedy a try.

What I came up with was a soothing dental spray full of essential oils. Peppermint, Oregano, Clove and Orange Essential Oils are great individually but perfect together. This mixture can boost circulation, reduce inflammation, and relieve pain.

Peppermint Essential Oil
Peppermint Essential Oil helps maintain a healthy mouth. This cool oil boasts anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and antiseptic properties that fight bacteria. Peppermint Essential Oil is commonly found in toothpaste, mouthwash, and more.

Oregano Essential Oil
Oregano makes a strong and powerful essential oil–the perfect defense against decay and rot. This antibacterial and antimicrobial oil helps eliminate plaque and tartar lurking in our mouths. For healthier teeth and gums, Oregano Essential Oil can easily be added to mouthwash and toothpaste. For pain relief, this oil can be used as a natural anesthetic.

Clove and Orange Essential Oils can be added to soothe sensitive teeth, among other things.
