Why do we fight against our inner voice?

Why? Because we’d rather satisfy our flesh! Our sinful nature only wants to please the flesh and it can, at times, be difficult to say no. It’s like your spoiled child that only eats candy, and throws a tantrum every time you put broccoli on their plate. But let’s be honest, pleasing the flesh and ignoring our inner voice is dangerous.

Our inner voice is Elohim directing our paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 says this, trust Elohim from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for His voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track. Bottom line: When we take our lives into our own hands, we jack it up. Elohim knows what’s best for us and is the only one that can lead us to victory.

Listening to your inner voice doesn’t always feel good but is always worth it. Remember, He must become greater; I must become less. – John 3:30

Will you listen to your inner voice today?

  1. There will always be a War going on inside our mind. This is why Paul said, “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can stand against the devil’s schemes.” Ephesians 6:10-17

Yes, it is hard if we choose to do it in our own flesh.
